This is an example of a visual cue (unlike a prompt, it is not faded or eliminated). I did not attend to this one though- didn't know L/R socks were at thing! Other examples of "real life" visual cues: stop signs, traffic lights, door numbers, and lines on the road. So when you are planning cues vs prompts for your learners, remember the real life ones we need to keep us safe or on track and that should help you figure out, "Cue, or prompt?"
